Behind the Scenes | Newborn Session

I think it’s important that my clients know what to expect before they come in for their session. I do my best to explain every step of the process and answer any questions whenever they come up. And I welcome potential clients to schedule a quick appointment to meet me and visit the studio before they ever book their session. But what is the saying … “a photo speaks a thousand words”? Yes it does! So if you’re wondering what a newborn session looks like with CWP, check out our behind the scenes photos below. See us in action, posing a (very awake) newborn baby.

I hired Destinee Stark Photography to come hang with us during our photo session with Piper and photograph us working with her. And I love how our behind the scenes photos turned out. I hope you notice my assistant is always in hands reach of baby — the safety of your newborn is of utmost importance to me. And as you can see, Piper was awake for quite a bit of her session. But we just go with the flow and as long as she’s happy, we keep working. And we got some great awake photos of her that you can see at the end of this post. Such a cutie!

You might spy mom relaxing in the background of some of these photos. I have a great little area for parents to sit and watch the session — or feel free to watch tv, check your email or take a little nap. There’s snacks and drinks too! Enjoy your free time while we safely work with your new baby.
