Adopted Newborn Baby Photos | Special Delivery!

It’s adoption stories like Mila’s that fill my heart with such joy. When a baby is so wanted and prayed for, and you just have to trust that your time will come and you’ll get that call that you’ve been matched. I met Mila’s mom before she received this news and got to be “on call” while they waited. I can’t imagine just going day by day, not knowing how long it will take to be matched with a baby. Luckily their wait didn’t take too long, and sweet Mila got to join her beautiful new family. I was so excited to receive the call that they were matched and ready for their newborn session. As you can see by the adopted baby photos below, it went very well!

While most newborn sessions are scheduled a bit more firmly, I certainly don’t mind working with clients with special circumstances. If your baby comes late, needs to stay a bit longer in the NICU, or as in Mila’s case, is adopted with little notice, I would love to work with you and create some beautiful newborn photos.

In most cases, once your session is booked, I ask that you contact me within 48 hours of baby’s arrival. Then I will send you back some session date options to choose from. I typically like to photograph baby within 2-3 weeks of birth. Although beautiful photos of your baby can be taken at any age.
