Children’s Outdoor Photographer | Isla

I had the pleasure of photographing Isla earlier this summer. It was a beautiful, warm morning and she was beyond adorable in her purple dress and straw hat. We spent a relaxing session wandering the grounds of a nearby campus, enjoying nature at it’s finest. She was full of wonder and smiles. To be honest, sometimes this is exactly what a young child needs to have a successful session. I think many parents are concerned their children won’t listen or pose perfectly for the camera. And guess what, they probably won’t. And that’s totally fine! I am more than happy to follow along on their adventure, photographing them as we go. As a Children’s Outdoor Photographer, I’ve learned that going with the flow is a big part of the job.

I’ve compiled a great list of session locations to choose from in the Hudson and Peninsula area, with tips and suggestions for each spot. Some are great for little kids and some do better with older children.
